status of www.flyafrica.com - submitted too many times??

Can you please check the submission status of http://www.flyafrica.com, submitted in mid-April 2005.

I am afraid I don't know the category it was submitted in, also that my boss may have tried to submit it to more than one category. I really want to ascertain whether it has been rejected for being submitted to more than one category! Hopefully not.

If it has been submitted too many times, is there anything we can do about it?

Thanks,

Andrew.

One copy has been deleted from Regional/Africa/Kenya/Localities/Nairobi/Travel_and_Tourism/Travel_Services becasue the company is not locatd in Kenya.

As for your other submissions, we have no way of knowing.

Thanks for the reply.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "As for your other submissions, we have no way of knowing"? Do you mean that if the link was submitted in another major category (i.e. not "Regional") then you (who deal with Regional?) would not know it?

How about within Regional then? You have removed that one link, do any remain?

Many thanks,

Andrew.

No, if you can't tell us the categories you have suggested the site to we are not able to find the suggestion. We can only see which actions have been done after you suggested the site (the action that spectregunner already told you).

I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.

Thanks, so,

What if I submit the site again to the proper category? I'll get black-listed won't I, if it has already been submitted to another category?

ODP editors are not at all as easy to manipulate as you think. Submitting to two categories isn't major-league spamming. (Submitting to three might be rude, but not unusual enough to be remarkable.)

At this point, WE only know of one submittal, and that was deleted. One more, to the right category (say, the locality of the home base) isn't going to cause major repurcussions.
