crelo Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Look for sites which link to your site, and have similiar names and URLs. From where I sit, suppose it's possible that they are the affiliates, but, again, I've missed some affiliate families before. Could we please keep this thread open so we can fully discuss this issue? Thanks. I have looked quite well into the links. I see many sites that have scraped the SERPs which contain this site as it is high in the rankings for many relevant terms. This makes it a good target for the scrapper and spammer sites. I can assure you that there is no active affiliate program for this school. We do have a couple of official channel partners who feature a link to the site from theirs. This site is not an affiliate site nor do we have an active affiliate program. It would be unfortunate and an injustice to see this unique site with unique content discriminated against because of scrapper and spammer sites that CaliforniaLicense.com doesn’t have control over. We have done our best to read, acknowledge and adhere to the policies that the ODP has set forth and maintained a professional decorum despite what seems like hostile behavior towards us. We are not spammers nor an affiliate, we simply seek the equal treatment our competitors have received in the ODP: http://dmoz.org/Business/Real_Estate/Education_and_Training/Schools_and_Instruction/ Accel Schools - California real estate school specializing in pre-license, exam prep and continuing education courses for sales agents and brokers. Allied Real Estate School - Offering multiple options for California state exam preparation. Anthony Schools - California school features training and broker courses for pre-licensing and continuing education. Offerings in San Francisco, Irvine, San Diego and by correspondence. California Career College - Vocational college provides training in real estate, property management, and mortgage finance. Features admissions, instructors, calendar and locations. California Real Estate Schools - The California Real Estate Schools offers loan agent training, job placement, and a free orientation session to help individuals decide which path in real estate is best for them. California School of Real Estate - Specializing in sales and brokers license preparation and continuing education courses. Serving the entire state since 1941. Clare Institute - California real estate school, online classes, and license information. Lumbleau Real Estate School - Instruction to help students pass the California real estate license exam. Includes license courses, continuing education, and student testimonials. And many others… Thank you for looking into this.
