Hi! I run a directory (one i hand edit... mini dmoz hehe) that lists nonnude sites.

although these sites are not nude, they are still considered Adult, so i felt it was correct to place the link in the adult section of dmoz.

I submitted here: http://dmoz.org/Adult/Computers/Internet/Searching/Link_Sites/Free/

The thing im worried about is that technically there is a nonnude section on dmoz, but its only for Image Galleries ( http://dmoz.org/Adult/Image_Galleries/Softcore/Non-Nudes/ ) so im a little unsure if i submitted to the correct area.

Any suggestions would be GREAT! thanks guys

Sorry - we must have overlooked your post.

Your site looks to be appropriately submitted. It's waiting to be reviewed with a fairly large number of other sites. Please be patient, and we'll get to your submission as soon as we can. Hope that helps.

Nothing new, your site hasn't been reviewed yet.

Still awaiting review in the category to which it was submitted. Please be patient, we've got a lot of sites to review and (nudge, hint, wink) too few editors willing and able to review Adult sites.

This is a little off subject, but can an editor ONLY edit the category that he is assigned, or can all editors review any category, but are responsible for the quality of the cat they mod?

Like many apparently simple questions, this one has a moderately complex answer.

Most editors can edit in, and are responsible for the quality of, the categories they are named on and all subcategories of those. Some of us (insert immodest cough here) can edit almost anywhere in the directory.

I'd also like to point out that being affiliated with a listed or potentially listed site is by no means a bar to becoming an editor. For an example apropos here, some of our best Adult editors are Adult webmasters. But, and I cannot emphasize this too strongly, you must be completely open about your affiliations, and we need to be completely certain that you will treat your competitors fairly and give yourself no advantage.

We have decided not to list this site. Please refer to the Adult FAQ for details about what we list and what we don't.

oh man! was there any info stating why? ive looked over the link that you gave me...and i cant find where my site breaks the rules.

I'm afraid we've been forced to stop giving out that sort of information. I wish we could, but far too many people used a simple statement of why we didn't list a site as a starting point for some pretty abusive arguments.

Ok that is fair and also would help someone trying to spam.

Do you have any suggestions for me? im really confused as to what i should do about this because i was thinking that i was in the clear!
