Anup Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 I submitted a category change for my site about a year ago - in the summer of '04. In Sept. '04 I was informed by an editor that if it had not been changed by March '05 I should contact them. This is July '05 it still hasn't been changed! I appreciate the fact that dmoz is free and that the editors are volunteering a valuable service. But, a year!!! C'mon!! Can dmoz pls act on my request of a year ago? Thanks. http://www.the3cgroup.com
Alucard Posted July 8, 2005 Posted July 8, 2005 So did you contact them, as suggested? Or do you mean the other thread you started where it said to come back here in March? If the latter, then I'm sorry, but we don't give status reports any more. However, (and I have not looked at your site or the various submissions) update requests tend to be given priority around here. It would be a fair bet to say that if the move has not happened by now, that an editor has reviewed it and decided that the move isn't appropriate.
Meta pvgool Posted July 8, 2005 Meta Posted July 8, 2005 As we don't do status request anymore we can not answer this question. But if you asked for a change a year ago and the change hasn't been applied yet I'm 99% sure the request was denied. Update request are handled much faster as they could be about quality control. I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.
