civvic Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I published a site http://www.napoletanos.it and tried to suggest to dmoz many times in the category: Top: World: Italiano: Regionale: Europa: Italia: Lazio: Provincia di Roma: Località: Roma: Affari e Economia: Ristoranti e Bar but nothing happened. Probably I made some mistakes but I dont understand what ! I think the category is the right , perhaps the site has something wrong, but what wrong? Could someone help me?

bobrat Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 In most cases it's just a matter of waiting http://resource-zone.com/forum/faq.php?faq=faq_site_questions#faq_how_long The time between submission and an editorial review ranges anywhere from two minutes to over two years. This is due to the voluntary nature of the ODP - editors volunteer their time free of charge to do what they can to build the directory. Reviewing submitted sites is only one of many tasks which editors need to perform, and for many editors, not the top priority. Submission to the directory by users is just one source of content for the ODP - editors are encouraged to go out on their own and find sites which could be listed. Pazienza
Meta pvgool Posted July 11, 2005 Meta Posted July 11, 2005 I ask not for status checks or editors assistamce! I only ask for help from other members If someone could suggest me something wrong on my site! Soory but questions like this may not be aksed (and answered) on this forum. There are many other fora where other webmasters will happely help you to improve your site. This category might be a good start to find such a forum http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Chats_and_Forums/ I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.
