There is a site (opendirectory.net) that claims for a yearly fee they can list you in the odp data. I am almost positive this is not true, but wanted the official word on this.

 

I think what they would do is add sites to their odp site but not the full directory.

They can list you at opendirectory.net (that they run), but they can't get you listed at dmoz.org (and all the other that are using ODP data). It looks somewhat like a scam in that they try to give the impression of they can get you listed at dmoz.org

Or maybe it's because that guy isn't an editor any more...
