Just checking my application status for editorship of the Sexual Harassment category. Date of application: June 8, 2005

I'n case you haven't seen my post, I'm checking on the status of my application for the category society-issues-violence/abuse-harassment-sexual harassment.

 

I made the application on June 8, and I did get a confirmation from you all that it was recieved. Username: Ceara

There's no sign of any application under that editor name - ever.

I may be mistaking the name I used. (I use two in my affliations with organizations related to this category--I may have used "aine" in the application rather than "ceara.") I sincerely doubt you would have had any other applications for that category for the exact same day. I can also forward you a copy of my application submission reciept, if you need proof.

Nope, nothing for that category and nothing for your alternate editor name.

 

If the email confirmation process described in FAQ and General Advice didn't complete, our machinery will keep it hidden from humans and will eventually eat it.

I just tried to apply again, and received this message: “Sorry, you can have only one application at a time.” So, you definitely have the application. It does not appear to have been "eaten."

 

Since I received a receipt from you all confirming my application had been received, it seems a good bet that the application process did complete.

 

Here is what the message said: "Thanks for applying to become an editor!

 

You will receive a reply as soon as your application

has been reviewed. If you have questions, please

visit the public forums at

to talk with one of our volunteers."

 

Again, I would be happy to send you a copy of this should you need proof.
