I had submitted the google site maps but no result yet

I had created the site map for my site in the XML format and submitted it to the google site maps.after some time i found the status was OK.

 

My question is that how many days it will take to google or dmoz to list my site.I need to do anything else after submitting to the google site maps.let me know about clearly

How long for Google? No one here can answer the question. You'll need to ask Google.

Part of that sounds like a Google question, and so perhaps better asked in a webmasters' forum rather than in this one.

 

I suggest http://www.cre8asiteforums.com/ which I have in the past found to be one of the more temperate and well moderated forums.

 

For the dmoz part of it, submitting a google site map will have no effect on a possible dmoz listing. What you need to do is go to http://dmoz.org and find the category most appropriate for your site. Near the upper right corner of the category screen, you will see a link labelled "Suggest a url". Using this link will (eventually, please be patient) bring the site to the attention of one of our editors for evaluation. If we find that it would be a benefit to our users, we will list it.
