erolz Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 I just got a refusal on my 4th application. The Reviewer Comments were "Incomplete response to "Please give details, including URLs, of any sites that you own or have designed or promoted, either in full or in part. Also, mention whether you have contributed content to any site, and give URLs as appropriate"." How complete does this need to be? Things I did not include. Forums I have made posts in (including this one). Sites I have been quoted in but did not submit to directly. I worked for a time as press officer for a non profit campaign (http://www.unmetered.org.uk). I disclosed this site. In the course of this work I was quoted in many other sites from bbc to theregister and sites like net4nowt. I did not disclose a specific list of these site for I simply do not know them all. I did explain this senario and gave a couple of examples. Alternative redirect site urls of sites I did say I had contributed too. For example I declared my participation in http://www.abcampaign.org.uk - this site redicrects to http://www.liquidzope.com/abc/. Should I list the liquidzope site as well? We also have the urls http://www.abcampaign.co.uk, .com and .org that all point to the same place. Should I list all these seperately? I also have a domain registered that I use for putting up things like pictures and files I want to let others download, but is not a website. I did not mention this. Should I have? I was as honest and open as possible with my list of sites and to be honest am confused that the reviewer feels that my response was incomplete. I guess it is possible that I simply forgot to paste into the appliaction form anything in this section from the text file where I store the information submitted but there is no way I know of now to confirm this or not? Any advice would be most welcome. Thanks.
erolz Posted October 12, 2005 Author Posted October 12, 2005 For info and in case it helps below is a copy of the text I used in my forth submission in the website I have been involved in section http://www.visionmatters.co.uk/assocsites.txt Like I mention above I did not list the visionmatters.co.uk site as it is not really a site, just a place I dump files like the one above. Should I have mentioned this site?
erolz Posted October 12, 2005 Author Posted October 12, 2005 Sorry all. Please ignore the above. I just noticed that I had missed a major site I am involved in that was missing. I will add that and resubmit the application. If an admin wants to delete this whole thread please feel free to do so as far as I am concerned. Sorry.
