Guest sarge Posted May 1, 2003 Posted May 1, 2003 First and foremost - thank you for this great tool and all the people who make it possible. Next, please advise us of our submission status for Custom Baby Gifts of Adorable Art. It was submitted over a month ago to Shopping-Children-Baby-Varied Merchanidise. Thank you.
motsa Posted May 1, 2003 Posted May 1, 2003 I don't see the site waiting under that category (nor under any of the letter subcats). Did you get an error message when you submitted? I'd suggest you resubmit to the appropriate letter category (not the main category) which in your case would be "P" (for Paige-Tolis Designs).
Guest sarge Posted May 2, 2003 Posted May 2, 2003 Your instructions to re-apply under the letter "P" confused me. I was under the understanding that one applied to a category, not an alphabetical index within the category. As for why our site isn't appearing in any que...we are stumped. We did not get any error message, and we are familiar with se/directory registration processes. It is a mystery, but we're moving on... Consequently, I have now submitted Paige-TolisDesigns.com under the better suited category - Shopping : Children: Home_ Decor: Nursery . Thank you for your information and guidance. Respectfully - Rick
Meta kokopeli Posted May 3, 2003 Meta Posted May 3, 2003 I edit in Shopping/Children and agree that your site is more suited to Shopping : Children: Home_ Decor: Nursery. I wanted to add to motsa's comments about submitting to the alphabar versus the main area. If you submit to the main area, usually that means an editor will likely first take the time to manually move the site to the appropriate section of the alphabar and then later on again take time to review the site...so submitting to the top can actually extend the amount of time it takes for a site to be reviewed. <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" /> It is always better to submit to exactly where it would be listed.
