uyma Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 I added really useful website for this catagory but your catagory editor really slow Top: Arts: Education: Language Arts: English: English as a Second Language: Student Resources Last update: 13:34 PT, Sunday, July 10, 2005 Regards
Meta hutcheson Posted November 2, 2005 Meta Posted November 2, 2005 How slow is "really"? There are only two speeds of slow. One is "slow enough I'd wish they'd go faster." The other is "slow enough I'd be willing to do their work to make it happen sooner." As for all other relevant measures of ODP attributes, the quantum nature of time means that slowness can only be measured for OTHER people's sites, it cannot be measured on your own.
uyma Posted November 2, 2005 Author Posted November 2, 2005 if you can glance to update date you can understand what did i say or you can understand meaning of "slow".
Meta hutcheson Posted November 2, 2005 Meta Posted November 2, 2005 The update date doesn't signify anything, slow or fast.
uyma Posted November 2, 2005 Author Posted November 2, 2005 how can i learn activity of editor.. i added new site maybe 3 months ago if editor is not active in this catagory, i must wait?
Meta hutcheson Posted November 2, 2005 Meta Posted November 2, 2005 There are hundreds of editors who COULD edit there. Nobody ever HAS to edit there. So, which editor would we tell you activity of? The answer is simple. Editor confidentiality. You have no right to that information for ANY editor; you have no legitimate use for that information.
uyma Posted November 2, 2005 Author Posted November 2, 2005 Yes, you must wait. We do not your costumer, you should be polite in relationship because we are only volunteers. Regards
Meta hutcheson Posted November 2, 2005 Meta Posted November 2, 2005 Exactly. You are not our customer, we are volunteers. It is not for you to tell us how fast to work. It is not for you to demand an accounting of how fast we work. That is arrogance beyond mere lexical rudeness.
uyma Posted November 2, 2005 Author Posted November 2, 2005 i dont want to say anything because you are right in your ideas everytime. I hope you will appreciate your volunteers's advice maybe one day
motsa Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 We do not your costumer, you should be polite in relationship because we are only volunteers. You asked if you should wait and I replied, yes, you should wait. There is nothing else you can do except wait.
