Please read the forum guidelines marked Forum Guidelines - READ BEFORE POSTING . We ask that you not request a status until it has been a month after you submitted the site to give a chance for it to possibly be added first <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" /> . Thank you =)

2 quick questions though, when i did a search for it at dmoz.org it didnt bring up any results, i also tried a search at aol with the same results.

I did see where it was listed, and i thank you alot

1) Is there a period of time that it takes for it to be added to other databases? (aol, msn, etc.. )

2)why cant i pull up the website through the dmoz search?

Dmoz search isn't being updated at the moment due to the server upgrades that we are making. Expect another update in a month or so.

We don't know when AOL/MSN/whoever are going to update their databases, because we're not them.

The RDF is produced 3 or 4 times per month, about weekly. Occasionally one is missing if it has errors, or there was downtime with servers, etc. There are server upgrades going on for several weeks now, so there have been interruptions. Expect to see the next one in the next week if there are no further problems.

The RDF is used for many things. It is used to update the ODP search. Due to upgrades, the search is unlikely to be having new RDF data for at least several weeks.

The RDF is used by downstream users such as the Google Directory. They have their own update schedule, and may be back tomorrow or may not do anything for many weeks or months. We have no way of knowing.
