An Englishman in Manhattan is seeking a quality pork pie, made in the English style. Surely somewhere in this un-sceptred isle there is a proper pork pie. Please?

 

(I made a similar request earlier, but the thread seems to have disappeared. Perhaps I posted it to the wrong place: if it should resurface, please take appropriate action — that being telling me two places where one can buy a pork pie.)

Hmmm. My request said "seeking a quality pork pie", and last time I was in that shop it failed to satisfy my adjectivally expressed requirements. But thank you for trying nonetheless. (Yes, it is difficult being fussy.)
