Status of http://www.webmastersreference.com

Hi

 

Could you tell me how http://www.webmastersreference.com is looking in the http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Authoring/Webmaster_Resources/ category.

 

Also, I need to check on the status of another site. I'll give details here but please let me know if I should start a separate thread.

 

It's http://www.emdgroup.com.au. It was submitted around September last year. Hopefully, it was submitted to http://dmoz.org/Regional/Oceania/Australia/Business_and_Economy/Business_to_Business/ but I recieved errors relating to my ip address or something. I believe that you still would have recieved the submission but it may not have gone to the correct category.

 

This site was actually first submitted back in 1999 but I'd imagine that submission is not still in a queue :-)

The submission has been caught by our filter for maybe being spam and is right now in the process of beiong sorted back to where it was submitted. Nothing to worry about, its on its way, though it may take some time.

I can't spot a submission for that URL in the given category. According to the log files (which were buggy sometimes back then) it was not rejected. I suggest you resubmit. There are only few sites waiting in the category you mentioned.

 

If you submit by hand and do not use a proxy for submission, you should be able to avoid the filter this time.

Thanks a lot for the speedy response.

 

I'll pop back next month about WebmastersReference.com and I'll re-submit EMD Group.

 

They were submitted by hand but I think something about my ISP messes things up. Not to worry.
