Incorrect(?) newsGroup tags pointing to http resources.

Hello!

 

I have found that several newsGroup tags pointing to http:// resources, so you will find links like "news:http://...". I don't think that it is correct. Some of these resources are web-interfaces to news groups, others internal dmoz pages that cannot be accessed without password and one is a regular dmoz category. I think that newsGroup tags should point only to Usenet resources. And in any case "news:http://..." is not valid link.

Thanks for letting us know. Those never should have been there -- the dmoz.org links were just out-and-out mistakes and the others were a result of people misunderstanding the purpose of the Usenet section.

 

I deleted the inappropriate Usenet links in Arts/Music/Bands_and_Artists/G/Gilbert,_Kevin, Sports/Football/American/NFL/Players/M/Marino,_Dan, Sports/Football/American/NFL/Players/M/Montana,_Joe, Regional/North_America/United_States/Idaho/Counties/Adams, Regional/North_America/United_States/Hawaii/Society_and_Culture/Military, Top/World/Nederlands/Regionaal/Nederland/Gelderland/Gemeenten/Nijmegen, World/Russian/Бизнес/Реклама_и_маркетинг/Связи_с_общественностью, and World/Russian/Страны_и_регионы/Европа/Россия/Субъекты_Федерации/ Республика_Татарстан/Бизнес_и_экономика/ Финансовые_услуги/Банки

 

The one in Games/Puzzles/Mechanical/Rubik was already deleted.
