I am in conversation with an editor and he has indicated that he would like to add our site to the appropriate category. He has been saying this for weeks now.

 

Most recently, he indicates there are large scale problems with the administrative interface that do now allow editors to add submissions to DMOZ currently.

 

I simply would like someone to verify whether or not this is true or completely fabricated.

As with most large scale systems, there are occasional problems. It's working fine now.

Indeed it is so unusual that some people making such a claim (though not a honest chap like yourself, I'm sure), might follow that question with a request of the form "the editor says the interface is still not working. please would someone for whom it is indeed working list my cheap hosting company...". But you aren't trying that trick, and we wouldn't be fooled, so this expectation of mine is happily misplaced.
