hotbunyip Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Hi, I have noticd the occasional bad links when using the dmoz directory. I did not check every time, but I recall one bad link was on a section with no editor; I cannot comment if any of the other bad links were from edited sites. Is there a forum or an area inside dmoz where a non-editor can advise of bad links?
RZ Admin photofox Posted May 1, 2006 RZ Admin Posted May 1, 2006 Hi, You can report bad links in the quality control thread: http://resource-zone.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=5453 Curlie Admin photofox
Meta windharp Posted May 2, 2006 Meta Posted May 2, 2006 ... or you can use the "update URL" link at the top of each category to let an editor know about it. Curlie Meta/kMeta Editor windharp
spectregunner Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Either way, if your intentions are good, we appreciate the effort.
Meta hutcheson Posted May 2, 2006 Meta Posted May 2, 2006 Actually, we won't even check your intentions. If the information is accurate, the presumption will be that your intentions are good. But you'll generally get what I think is the best kind of thanks -- evidence that we placed a high priority on using your information.
