kenwvs Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Good Day: After reading a bunch of threads here, and people getting upset that they haven't heard back, or they are angry because they received a rejection email, let me put my two cents worth in. I too received a rejection email, but I didn't feel rejected. They were kind, considerate, encouraged me to apply again, and pointed out both the common mistakes, and some specific ones to my application. I actually felt good after reading the email as it helped me as I resubmitted my application. If you receive a rejection email, don't take it personally. Those rejecting applications, aren't rejecting you as a person but merely doing what they have been asked to do.

kenwvs Posted May 15, 2006 Author Posted May 15, 2006 From what I gather, it is a form letter, but the person reviewing it has the option to ad comments at the bottom of the the letter. The person who reviewed (and rejected) mine, was polite, and gave me some encouragement and ideas for improving another application. I just hope they are able to fix the problem they are having with new applications. I sent mine in (and not even thinking it would be a problem), didn't save it, and low and behold, my confirmation email can't be sent at this time. Oh well, I guess I can use the practice in writing descriptions. Ken
motsa Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 The problem with our applications system has been resolved. What generally happens is that all of the applications for whom people have been trying to send in confirmations come through OK without you having to resend the confirmation or reapply.
