AnnaStuart Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Is it normal that a site can have stuffing keywords in title in this category? http://dmoz.org/World/Deutsch/Wissenschaft/Geisteswissenschaften/Linguistik/Sprachen/Nat%c3%bcrliche_Sprachen/Indoeurop%c3%a4ische/Romanische/Italienisch/Ausbildung/Sprachschulen/ http://www.ilsonline.it/ ILS Italian Language School "Circolo di Cultura Italiana" - Italienischschule für Ausländer in Italien. Beschreibung der Sprachschule in Otranto sowie des Kursangebotes. The right company title name is: IlsOnline as stated in their term and conditions: http://www.ilsonline.it/iscrizione.html Maybe this is an exception because a Dmoz editor manages this site... see: http://dmoz.org/profiles/dino2004.html
Meta benjiwiebe Posted May 13, 2006 Meta Posted May 13, 2006 The title has been corrected. Should show up once the site updates again.

Meta u1amo01 Posted May 16, 2006 Meta Posted May 16, 2006 Hm, looks like the servers are very slow these days. It was changed on the editor server on May 13th. We can only wait.
Meta windharp Posted May 16, 2006 Meta Posted May 16, 2006 FTR: The time a public page needs to update consists of two parts: The time our system needs to generate the static HTML from the database (queue-based to reduce the load on our servers on peak hours) and the time the publicside servers cache the previous file (up to 5 days if I remember correctly). So even under normal conditions, it may take up to 5 days until all publicside servers are up to date. Due to our spider RoboZilla tagging loads of sites as "not working" a few days ago, the generation of static HTML is currently several days behind. It is very difficult to predict how long the delay is, I guess it's currently about 2-5 days. Mind: This does not affect download data for our downstream users (like Google) in any way. The RDF files are compiled from the raw data, not the compiled HTML. Curlie Meta/kMeta Editor windharp
