New member with a question?

I was going to originally ask a question on my site status but then noticed a thread that ODP editors are no longer checking site status.

I have submitted my site a year ago, and it never appeared on ODP. Should I resubmit it? Any suggesstions, is it still taking a long time for a site to be reviewed?
