Opinion: I was wondering if sites belonging to Yahoo Groups are ODP worthy. I have a group site that I would like included but, in order to control spamming, I have has to make it a member only site - meaning that most of the content will not be viewable to a ODP editor unless he/she subscribes to the group.

Help: I also had a problem submitting my site. I couldn't find a relevant category and ended up submitting to the best I could find (I think it'll be rejected because of this). Later, on DMOZ, I tried searching for sites that were similar to mine and found them, mostly, in another category. Is there any way for me to cancel the add to one category and resubmit to the other?

Thanks

(1) SOME Yahoo groups are listable--especially active groups on unique topics. Some are not--inactive groups, not well moderated, on topics well represented already.

(2) Editors are often reluctant to register to review a site. You can set up a review-only registration, put it in brackets at the end of the suggested description [review userid FOO password BAR].

(3) There is no "cancel suggestion", but two suggestions won't cause big problems, especially if, in the second suggestion, you mention in brackets again something like ["also suggested to category xxx, but I think this is the better category"].
