I know this has been covered in this forum already... but it was a really old thread.

I was just accepted as an editor, and my username/password does not work.

Any suggestions would be helpful

My username is: justinnerd

Thanks for any help!

***sorry this got posted twice... I'm not sure why***

Very probably it is. As brmehlman wrote "If you still can't log in tomorrow, please check back here and bump this thread." This is for all new editors having access problems. Please wait one day, technical staff is working on the serverproblem.

I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.

To quote the current dashboard notice:

Important: Editing has been disabled to prevent any further damage from a recent system problem. The forums are fine, so please continue to use them, or go out and enjoy the sunshine/snow. We hope to have a status update for you soon.

Ahhh, but those of us who were just approved (I'm in the same boat as the folks above) can't get to the dashboard. ;)

A strange collusion of circumstances that lead to a "Uh, WTH?" reaction. *grin*

Cheers!

I am also a new editor and now unable to log in.

I was approved 9/6 and have logged in several times since then, but unable to do so today.

My username is "stampman100" - will there be a wait of some sort after the server problem is fixed before I can get back in?

**Update: I'm now able to log in.

Now I am able to log in to my dashboard and I can make edits, but I cannot get into the editor forum. When I re-enter my username and password the sysyem does not recognize it. Can someone please assist?

Still no love on the login...

I haven't been able to login even once since my original welcome email. Could it be my username and passowrd maybe??

My issues (which seemed to match the first batch) are now resolved. So, yes, I'd recommend you check the email that came to you with your user name and password, check the case you're using, and so on.

I'm afraid that's not going to help in this case. There's a problem with his account that I can see but have neither the skills nor the permissions to fix. The only thing I know how to do that might have worked, someone else has already tried.

We're still awaiting a response to my request from our technical staff. If it doesn't work a couple of days from now, please bump this thread and I or someone else will pester them again.
