AngryLeprechaun Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 How many Irish section editors are there on dmoz?
Meta pvgool Posted September 10, 2006 Meta Posted September 10, 2006 No idea. But how would it be relevant to know which nationality editors have. Irish editors can "work" all over the directory and editors from all over the world can "work" (or apply tot do so) in categories related to Ireland. I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.
spectregunner Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 I'm, half Irish, does that count? Does that fact that mroe than 200 editors can edit in any given category -- regardless of their nationality -- count?
jeanmanco Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 How many editors are there for http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Ireland/ and sub-categories? Not enough. Should you wish to volunteer, pick a smallish category to start with.
DaveDavis Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Including myself, I have spoken to three and am aware of 6. (Not that I have spoken to myself)
dogbows Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Including myself, I have spoken to three and am aware of 6. (Not that I have spoken to myself) Awwww, come on now Dave. Surely you don't expect us to believe that you are so different from the rest of us that you never, ever talk to yourself! It's only when you answer yourself that it's time to worry.
DaveDavis Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Did I imply that I don't ANSWER myself? No, I don't think you did.
motsa Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 It's only when you answer yourself that it's time to worryWell, jeez -- it'd be kind of rude if you didn't answer yourself, wouldn't it? And if you start being rude to yourself, well, *then* you really have problems.
DaveDavis Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 LOL, And I thought this forum had lost its sense of humor!
dogbows Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 It still has it's moments, Dave, especially when editing is down. Editors are itching to edit, and others are itching to suggest sites. You have to have a little fun in times of crises!

You have to have a little fun in times of crises! And some ex-editors (ahem ^ ) really want to come back so she needs to get to the reinstate link!
DaveDavis Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Ahhhh, I was wondering why you were being so friendly It's actually been cool. I've been doing a lot more research into my cats and have come up with some decent stuff to add when the issue is resolved. I also found out a lot about the project I was not aware of from reading docs and the forums because of the downtime. Every cloud eh?
