mathteacher Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Hello, My math website for children had been in the directory: Kids and Teens, School Time, Math, Arithmetic for a couple of years. I checked recently and found that it has been removed from the entire directory. Is there any way to find out why? Since its original inclusion, the site has grown tremendously and has become a trusted educational resource. It does not violate any ODP Kids and Teens guidelines, offers many high quality math activities, and is entirely free of charge. I would very much like to know what has happened and if there is anything I can do to help bring it back. Thank you. mathteacher
Meta benjiwiebe Posted February 7, 2007 Meta Posted February 7, 2007 Is there any way to find out why? I'm afraid not It does not violate any ODP Kids and Teens guidelines, offers many high quality math activities, and is entirely free of charge. If you checked the site against the k&t-guidelines and if your site is aimed at children, you can re-suggest your site once, to the category most suitable. An editor will for sure re-check the site.
DesertJules Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 Over the years, guidelines in many areas of the directory (including Kids and Teens) have become more stringent. It is possible that a site, listable 2 years ago, would not be listable now. Or, at least, not listable where it was. :icon_idea Perhaps, if your site has regional information, it would be more suited to your location, in the Regional/ section of the directory.
