motsa Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Please stop posting asking about your suggested site. You already have a thread open on that subject, knowing full well that we can't give you any kind of real answer, and yet you keep posting about it in new threads.
altinkumstar Posted April 30, 2007 Author Posted April 30, 2007 Hi , I do try to be a editor for Altinkum/ Didim category , can some body tell me how to become a editor.
altinkumstar Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 Become a Editor Application :confused:Hi, I did apply to be editor but after submit form l hade this screen come and is this right? Request Reinstatement of Editor Account:confused: http://dmoz.org/cgi-bin/apply.cgi
altinkumstar Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 Its me again Hi , I just want to let you know l am still waiting like you say.
altinkumstar Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 Hi Motsa Is there any time you can check my details do you think ?
jimnoble Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 You haven't yet provided the information that we need if we are to check it. Please read Forum Guidelines - READ BEFORE POSTING to find out what we require.
Meta nea Posted June 18, 2007 Meta Posted June 18, 2007 I did apply to be editor but after submit form l hade this screen come and is this right? Request Reinstatement of Editor Account If you were taken to that page, it means that you answered "yes" when the application form asked if you'd been an editor before. If you already have an editor account, you should apply for reinstatement, not apply for a new account. If you have not been an editor before, you should not answer "yes" to that question. And if that was what happened when you applied to become an editor, your application did not go through. (But that doesn't quite tally with what you said earlier about receiving a reply from DMOZ - perhaps you've tried for several accounts? Don't do that, please. Only submit one editor application at a time, and if that one is rejected you can submit another one, unless you are asked not to.) Please use this thread for all questions about your editor application. It becomes much more confusing if the same person asks in several different threads. Thanks! :moz: Curlie Meta and kMeta editor nea
motsa Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 If you were taken to that page, it means that you answered "yes" when the application form asked if you'd been an editor before. Or didn't answer it at all -- it presumes "yes" if you forget to make a selection for that field.
smartwater Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Hi There, I did apply for to be editor 3 times but l never had a ereply email from DMOZ, no reply no reply. Also this is same with my site submission, never been listed and never had a email from DMOZ. Somethink wrong but l dont know what. your spelling and command of english could be the problem

Editall/Catmv makrhod Posted October 20, 2009 Editall/Catmv Posted October 20, 2009 I'm not sure what you are asking? If you want a specific answer about a recent application you will need to give all the details: the instructions are in "Forum Guidelines - READ BEFORE POSTING". FAQ about becoming a volunteer ODP editor. I edit for the ODP and support those guidelines at all times, but my opinions are my own.
jimnoble Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I've merged your two threads. It's much less confusing if a continuing conversation is all in the same place. someone just said no application Just? They said it in May 2008.
RZ Admin Elper Posted October 21, 2009 RZ Admin Posted October 21, 2009 A good idea is to Whitelist (allow) mail to come from dmoz.org - as sometimes it can end up marked as spam elper {moz}:curlie: All opinions expressed are my own, and do not necessarily represent the official point of view of the administration of either this forum or the directory.
altinkumstar Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 well since all this time never recieved anything from dmoz, reading everything even didnt help because you never get reply from anyone here on any applications.

RZ Admin Elper Posted October 10, 2011 RZ Admin Posted October 10, 2011 Per this thread, 14 days after you have submitted your application, you can ask about its status. elper {moz}:curlie: All opinions expressed are my own, and do not necessarily represent the official point of view of the administration of either this forum or the directory.
