simonjq Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Hi, May I ask, for application to become an editor, what should be provided for the section of: "Please give details, including URLs, of any sites that you own or have designed or promoted, either in full or part. Also, mention whether you have contributed content to any site, and give URLs as appropriate" The above is quoted in remark to my editor application (I was rejected and deemed as have not provided details, though I tought I have). My question is, do participations in forums fall into the category of "contributed content to any site"? I understand that you are not able to provide personal responses to every application, however, I believe my question is quite general, and applicable to everyone else who has intention to become editor, that is why I opened a new thread instead of continuing my old thread to check my status. Thanks. cheers, Simon
jimnoble Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 do participations in forums fall into the category of "contributed content to any site"?Here's a general answer to a general question. No they don't. On the other hand, forum ownership does. If you are a forum moderator, you might want to mention it just for completeness . Primarily, we're looking for info about websites that you have or have had an interest in. If the list isn't complete, we wonder why not .
