Nobody NEEDS DMOZ listings.

 

There are plenty of things a webmaster can do to assist their sites without having a listing in DMOZ.

 

The best thing you can do is read the submission guidelines and submit a site for possible inclusion and then wait to see if it comes up to the guidelines required.

 

To be perfectly honest there is no point in complaining as there are a limited amount of editors just hang on and wait. I have been a critic of DMOZ (constructive) but it is better to be constructive than just bitch.
