I submitted the following url on 3-21-03 to this category:

 

Top: Regional: North America: United States: Missouri: Metro Areas: Saint Louis Metro

 

The url is: Body Options Massage & Day Spa

 

Can anyone tell me how long to expect before it is reviewed?

It appears to me that it will just be moved to http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Missouri/Localities/S/Saint_Louis/Business_and_Economy/Services/ as the brick and mortar address of your site states it is located in one location in a mall in St. Louis. The submission guidelines for where you submitted clearly state:

 

For faster indexing, please submit your site

TO THE TOWN where your business is located.

 

The Metro is reserved for linking to towns in the area and business locations that have many different locations within the area.

 

Metro Area categories are for sites of businesses and organizations with multiple locations in the area or general information sites specifically about the particular metro area.

 

PLEASE

Do not submit sites to these categories based on the area served by a business but rather by the physical location of the business. Thank you for using the Open Directory

 

My advice would be to follow the submission guidelines and submit to http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Missouri/Localities/S/Saint_Louis/Business_and_Economy/Services/

Do you think it would be better to resubmit to the other category at this point, or to just wait and hope the editor reviews it soon and places it in the other category?

I just moved it to http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Missouri/Localities/S/Saint_Louis/Business_and_Economy/Services/, no need to resubmit <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

 

[edited to add] To clarify, I moved it to unreviewed, I did not actually list the site.

Thanks for doing that for me. Does that mean that the submission date gets set to today's date? I'm just wondering how long to expect before it's reviewed.

There are too many variables to say when it would be reviewed, but as for the date it does not get reset as I moved the complete submission. The date may or may not matter, as it depends on how the sites are sorted by the editor. It is waiting with around a dozen other sites.
