Hi There

I am in a desperate situation. my website title "Toronto's Hottest LOFT Website" has been replaced with "Carl Langschmidt - Royal Le Page" ..my lively hood depends on loft buyers finding my website....nobody looking for info on TORONTO lofts will click Carl Langschmidt - Royal Le Page.....please HELP....

Royal Le Page - that sounds like it's a real estate site. In the real estate categories, the title guidelines are very strict: the agent's name followed by the RE company they are affiliated with. That rule's the same for all individual RE agents. The guidelines are publicly available here: http://dmoz.org/guidelines/regional/realestate.html#titles

I believe you can use the noodp meta tag (search on it) to stop Google from using the ODP title but, as nea says, real estate agents are listed with very strict titles in the ODP itself.
