Guest empresschang Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 Yesterday I submitted my domain name: http://www.theinternetdigest.net to the following category: http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Authoring/Beginner%27s_Guides/ However, my domain is parked and has URL forwarding pointing to the physical URL of the page. Today, reading the forum, I found out the OPD may consider URL forwarding the same as a redirect (which is forbidden). Should I re-submit my site using the physical URL, or is there a chance that my main domain, and not the physical address, will be reviewed and included in the directory? Thank you, Mario http://www.theinternetdigest.net
giz Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 The address that your site points to will be the one that is listed if your site makes it into the directory. Forwarding or redirecting domains are not listed; the destination domain is the one. No need to resubmit (unless you need to update the description or something), as this will be done at the time of review.
