My Login does not work either - idmaster

I am an editor and I cannot login as well. It seems I am getting the same issue as spacecake. Any suggestions?

It would help us to help you if you tell us:

- what error message you get when you try to log in to your dashboard.

- what error message you get when you request a password reminder at http://www.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/forgot.cgi

No Error Message

 

There is no error message, it goes back to login screen everytime and after the 3rd time you try to login it gives this error:

 

401 Authorization required error.

That generally means you're typing in the incorrect combination of editor name and password. Have you tried to request a password reminder as jimnoble suggested?

I tried the password reminder and even the reinstatement form

OK, we need AOL's operations staff to fix that one. I'll report it (now done) and let you know when your account has been unscrambled. it could take a week or so.

Ops say they've fixed the problem with your account and have issued you with a new password. I've asked our system to send you a password reminder.

I am yet to get the password but I imagine it is on its way. If you already sent it then try and send it again. My spam filter could have blocked it.

There may be an issue with the outgoing messages at the moment. Staff has been notified. If so, we wont be able to resend a password reminder until the problems are corrected.
