Login Problems - dtap

I see that I'm not alone with my log in problem - my user name is dtap

 

Unfortunately, I requested help from Artisan prior to seeing this post. I hope that will not complicate things. If someone could help - that would be appreciated.

We will need to know the nature of the log in problems before anyone can advise. What issues are you having with logging into your dashboard? Can you request a password reminder at http://www.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/forgot.cgi ? Are you having trouble with the Reinstatement Form?

 

Knowing what the problems are will help us give the appropriate advice as to fix them.

When I attempt to login - the same screen reappears asking me to repeat the process - entering my user name and password.

 

When I ask to be reinstated - I get the following error message: "Sincere Apologies - Your password does not match our records. This may be the fault of our records. Please request a password reminder."

 

When I request a password reminder - I get the following error message: "Sorry we cannot issue a password reminder for you at this time. Please post in our unofficial public forums to ask for help, or contact a meta editor."

Thank you for the information - this is something only the tech staff can fix. I've asked them them to kick your account into shape for you so you can request reinstatement. It could take a few days, though.

Now you should either have received a password reminder or be able to request one - with that you can request reinstatement. Thanks for your patience
