Since, I guess, some time in August I cannot login to http://editors.dmoz.org/ anymore. When I try to request a password reminder I get

Sorry, we cannot issue a password reminder to you at this time.

 

May I ask those who can to have a look what's going wrong? My loginname is wox.

I had reported my login issues earlier but I still cannot login, and I have never received a new password.

 

Since, I guess, some time in August I cannot login to http://editors.dmoz.org/ anymore. When I try to request a password reminder I get

The reinstatement form says my account is still active.

 

May I ask those who can to have a look what's going wrong? My loginname is wox.

I've moved your earlier post across to this, your own, thread.

 

When people piggy back onto other people's threads, it can cause confusion at best. In your case, your earlier posts slipped under the radar entirely and no action was taken.

 

OK. Your account is still intact. Only AOL's operational staff can untangle your account and I've just asked them to do so. We'll let you know when they have. I can't predict the time scale but it usually takes a week or so.

Whew! I informed ops about an hour before they processed a batch.

 

Ops tell me that that they've issued you with a new password and I've asked our system to email it to you. You should now be able to log in to your editor account - no need to seek reinstatement.
