Marc O. Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Hello, I would like to reinstate my editing account. I've been offline for a while (new job, too busy to find the time and energy to do the editing) and I guess I lost access because of that. Found myself another job again and would like to pickup the editing task. Please find my details below: Categories: Recreation/Travel/Specialty_Travel/Boat_Charters/Worldwide/Agents/ World/Nederlands/Recreatie/Openlucht/Varen/Charters/ Editor nickname: yachteditor I already tried http://dmoz.org/reinstate.html but somehow managed to forget my password so it doesn't work Thanks in advance! Marc (yachteditor)
Meta shadow575 Posted October 10, 2007 Meta Posted October 10, 2007 Have you tried requesting a Password Reminder? If not give that a try and you should receive your email via your editing account email. Then you will be able to request reinstatement. In some cases its been reported that errors occur when requesting reinstatement. If that occurs or you are unable to request a password reminder, bump this thread and give us the details of the errors you are getting. Thanks. <add>oops, i tried sending you a password reminder and received the dreaded "unable to see" error. I attempted to reset the password file on record with no success. This is a known issue and requires the attention of Staff, I have reported the problems internally and as soon as they respond that the problem is fixed we will notify you in this thread. Staff operates on their own priorities, so it may take a week or so to hear back from them. Sorry for the inconvenience.<end> Shadow *The opinions I offer are my own and may not represent the opinions of Curlie.org or other editors.* It can take anywhere from two hours to several years for a site review to take place. I do not respond to private messages requesting site status checks. _______________________________________________ https://shadow575.wordpress.com/
Marc O. Posted October 10, 2007 Author Posted October 10, 2007 Yes I tried the password reminder indeed, but as you found out as well it results in an error message. Anyway, many thanks for your quick reply and assistance so far. Very much appreciated!
Meta shadow575 Posted October 10, 2007 Meta Posted October 10, 2007 That information would have saved some time earlier. In any regards its been reported and is awaiting the attention of staff. Someone will report back to this thread as soon as we receive word that everything should be fixed. Marc O. Posted October 11, 2007 Author Posted October 11, 2007 That information would have saved some time earlier. Appologies for that one :o
Meta shadow575 Posted October 12, 2007 Meta Posted October 12, 2007 Marc, Staff is reporting that your issue has been fixed and that a request to have a password reminder sent was initiated. You should have received a password reminder to your editor email address. If you have not received it or still have troubles logging in please bump this thread. Hope that helps! Marc O. Posted October 15, 2007 Author Posted October 15, 2007 Hi, Yep, I received the email. I still wasn't able to login with my nick and the provided passwd, so I tried the http://dmoz.org/reinstate.html link once more. I'll be back here if that doesn't work either. Thanks for your help! Marc (a.k.a. yachteditor)
