Hi - hope this is best place for this query - if not pls send me elsewhere - submitted <removed URL> months ago, but doesn't show up yet. If I submitted it incorrectly, would I be given an indication? Should I re-submit? Any help or direction appreciated, thank you.

No, don't submit again, only submit a site suggestion once. It could take a few days or a couple of years for a site suggestion to be reviewed, it depends on the area of the Directory and how many editors there are who have the time and interest to edit there. So, there's no way to predict a time, and nothing more you can do, other than just being patient, .
