Totally new to this, submitted my first ever site few months ago, just wondering what the chances of getting accepted are.

I don't believe it is within this forum's policy to answer such questions: They don't do status checks here, and can't tell you when/if your site will be included.

 

Further, I don't believe URLs (for cases such as this) are allowed here, either.

 

To increase your site's chances of being added you should follow the guidelines for submitting a site, and do so as stringently as possible -- making sure it gets submitted to the most appropriate category. It would also help to read the editor guidelines, specifically the sections on writing the Title and Description located here: http://www.dmoz.org/guidelines/describing.html
