Hi;

I have reported an abuse on 2007-12-05 21:28 . The web site that i have reported is list on turkish part of dmoz. This web site is making spam and there is no relation between web site content and listed category.

Is there any turkish editor to check it?

Regards

Ulas

I'm sure a Turkish editor will be out there soon to help you with the listing problem, because if it is listed then there must have been a turkish editor to approve it in the first place, you might need to wait though since ODP editors are volunteers and might have other committments to fulfill before they could check out ODP.

Hope I helped

If that's all the information you have, then it's rather unlikely that this will be down to editorial abuse. It's far more likely that the site was either listed accidentally (we're only human after all) or was listed some time ago when it's content was entirely different. The ODP Abuse Reporting Tool is meant for people who have evidence of editors abusing their position, e.g. by adding mirrors of their own sites of removing their competition. Such actions are fortunately quite rare, but do happen from time to time.

If you just wish to let us know about a 'bad' listing, and don't have anything firm to make you believe it was editorial abuse, then you'd be better off either using the "update URL" link on the category page, or posting in the Report Hijacks, Dead Links, Inappropriate ODP Content, and other issues here thread in this forum.
