referrer site: editors.dmoz.org

Hello

 

I got from time to time in my referring sites list this url editors . dmoz .org , i've submitted my website to dmoz a year ago but nothing yet, could someone please tell me why a editor is browsing my site that offen ? I suppose that my application was not rejected because I have that referrar in my list more than one time.

You can't draw any conclusions from dmoz.org referrers. They might be from editors or automated tools. Editors can view a website for all sorts of reasons. They might be evaluating, sorting to better categories or anything else that takes their fancy. The robots are looking for availability and redirects etc.

 

Bottom line - just ignore them .

 

(I normally work with referrers disabled BTW .)
