compson Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 For some reason the website I work for has been listed under "Adult" which obviously is causing significant problems. I don't know who did the initial submission, or why they would have considered it an appropriate label. Not to belabor the point, but we don't even show any nudity or allow cursing on our site. The only thing I can think is that because we are so juvenile in tone, the word "boob" may as well be our motto, someone jumped to conclusions. I have tried to remedy this on my own and have gotten no where. If anyone could give me some advice, suggestions, or solutions, I would greatly appreciate it.
jimnoble Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 The best thing to do is visit the category where your website is listed and use the update listing link at the top of the page to explain what you think should be done. Somebody will evaluate your request in due course but we can't predict when that will be or the result. Update requests are are prominent on our editing screens and most editors give them priority.
compson Posted March 28, 2008 Author Posted March 28, 2008 thank you I really appreciate your advice. It wasn't that hard to do once I was figuered out how to access our listing. (Being in the adult section made finding our site frustrating enough to put me off the task.) Thank you for your advice and hopefully my site will soon be released from "Adult" purgatory.
