My editor profile

Hi,

 

I was an editor but I didn't log in for a while and obviously it was too long so now I get the "You must get reinstated" to log in stuff.

 

I don't want to get reinstated right now, but I was just wondering if it was possible for a member of staff to edit my editor profile?

 

It has my e-mail address in it, and it comes up on google.

 

It's the same username as the one I'm posting with

That's why I always warn people to publish their email anywhere in readable form

 

In theory it is possible, but changing profiles is as good as never done. We generally encourage people to apply for reinstatement and change things themselves. Anyway, I'll forward your request to staff.

I made an optimistic request about my profile shortly after I resigned as a meta/kmeta three months ago, but without any real expectation that it would be done. So far, I am right.

 

So windharp is correct. It is not uncommon for editors to request reinstatement with the sole intention of changing their profile, so I recommend that as the surest way of achieving your goal.
