Guest hokiss Posted June 12, 2003 Posted June 12, 2003 hi sorry to bother you guys i know you allare busy but i submited my site to dmoz foralmost 5 month ago to Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/ the site url :www.visiondesigngroup.net i just want to know what have idone wrong? 2nd questioni have a web site that has something like open open directory project i have lots of website listed in it but as i saw some people have the exact search engine as dmoz how can i have the same scripts ? keep the good work thank you
lachenm Posted June 12, 2003 Posted June 12, 2003 1st question: The only thing you did a little wrong was choose the wrong category -- you actually submitted somewhere else that was also not the best category for your site (ok, well, if we want to be real sticklers, you could have provided a clickable link as requested in the forum guidelines <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" /> )... Anyhow, a local editor reviewed your site and moved it to a more appropriate category: http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/Full_Service/V where it has been listed since 3 Apr 2003. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> >>2nd question<< If you want to use ODP data, try looking at http://dmoz.org/help/getdata.html .
