Hi,

I'm trying to register the URL <URL deleted> , an agricultural engineers and suppliers for models such as Zetor, McCormick and Merlo, and have tried filling the register form, but the security code doesn't show, so I am unable to complete the form.

I have tried to refresh the 'code' and tried playing audio, but it fails everytime. There is a pop-up that is initially blocked, but when I unblock it it refreshes the page and still fails to show the secuirty code.

Is it something to with my internet options or browser?

Thanks, in advance, for your help.

Have you put our website into the Macclesfield category?

I put it into the pool of websites awaiting evaluation there - ie. just what you were presumably trying to do.

I didn't publish it there.

Thankyou.

Just to confirm - we have done our part now and we should not try and register again??

How long will it take for Barlow's (Henbury) to appear in the directory - I've seen on other threads that it can take longer than 2 years!

So we just have to sit and wait patiently now?

Thanks again,

Chris

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

No, you don't have to.

I wouldn't.

There's really nothing you have to wait on. Get on with your life. Build content. Make contacts. Do whatever anyone else would do with a business plan--or a social activity, or a recreational obsession or a religious mission. Get busy being something worth writing about on a website; know something worth learning about, from a website.

Otherwise, the website is just wasting time--yours and your visitors' as well as the ODP volunteer reviewers'.

This attitude takes some practice. I still want other people to work on my priorities immediately. But I've learned to look at it the other way around: other people have no obligation to EVER work on MY priorities: anything they do is a free gift that I had no right to expect. What they do deserves thanks, what they don't do--well, if it really was my top priority I'd be doing it, wouldn't I? If I don't work on my own priorities, why should I expect other people to?

My experience is that, if I make a large enough list of priorities, other people will do an enormous amount of work to be grateful for.
