Abdel Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I noticed that you can still edit your post in this forums even after someone has replied to it. Editing such posts can change significantly the whole path of the discussion. I think disabling the edit option once the post is replied makes more sense and I think it's possible in vBulletin based boards Just a suggestion.
bjfs Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Hey, as far as I know one is able to edit his posts for a brief amount of time. Additionally there is an option to give a notice why the change was done AND there is a revision history (however it takes arcane wisdom to figure that one out) :icon_idea When the post gets old, it can't be edited any longer. Unfortunately I don't know the numbers since I only clean here... (I got used to phpBB and SMF though, since they're free and open source) Internet Society Poland
