Who makes the lizards?

Are the lizards from an official dmoz rep or do editors make them and put them in their cats? I want to have a little carpenter lizard when I grow up /images/icons/tongue.gif

We can submit them and have them approved - when staff has time to look at lizards. /images/icons/smile.gif

 

We call them "Mozzies" and there are LOTS of choices. I like the "tough Mozzie" in the black leather jacket.

Why not request someone make one for you? Someone made mine for me back in the dawn of the dark ages. Wish I could remember who it was, I would thank them again.

Thought this thread could do with a bump seeing we have so many new members.

 

Anyone may make a mozilla. Editors can submit them through the Mozilla selection link at the bottom of each page in the ODP directory. There are rules of course to keep the images consistent and useful throughout the directory.

 

There is a limited number of categories causing some delays, but a proposal for more cats is being put together for submission to staff.

 

Editors can ask to have a unique Mozilla created through a special "I want my Mozilla" thread in the ODP Culture forum.
