removing dead links

I'm new here, and if there's already an answer to my question, I haven't seen it. What should be done to remove a dead link? Specifically:

 

http://www.dmoz.org/World/Tagalog/Reperensya/Pag-aaral/ lists

• ng Guro sa Cuyo
  
• which redirects to a Yahoo page
  
• which redirects to edwinsoriano.com/gurosacuyo
  
• which is 404

Never mind. I clicked "update listing". I'd already done that, but it didn't seem to include removing a listing. I found out through one of the "similar threads" links.

 

No FAQ entry?
