Did my application go through (confusion after error message)?

Hello,

I applied to become an editor on Feb. 12, 2010. However, after I replied to the email that I received right after I submitted my application, I received an error message. So I'm not sure if my application went through.

No idea. We humans can't track it from the information you've given. We also need editor name and category as required by Important: Forum Guidelines - READ BEFORE POSTING above.

 

If the error message was that reported in Replies to apply@dmoz.org result in permanent fatal errors, the thread advises you how to recover the situation.

The category I applied for is: http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/Oceania/Fiji/Travel_and_Tourism/Travel_Guides/

 

Yes, I read the other thread, but I'm still not sure if I did the right thing to recover the application.

Jim, I read the thread that you referred me to in your reply and followed the advice given in it. I submitted my application again today (with a note in it that I got an error message the first two times). Right after I re-submitted it, I received an email that my application has been denied. However, this time the reviewer didn't give me a reason why it was denied. Was it denied because it was seen as spamming (because I submitted it multiple times)?

The email contains a list of common reasons. If there are no reviewer comments, it will be one or more of those.
