Hey fellow Editors, and members! I am about to release my first big ebook on Amazon and the Kindle. I was wondering if any of you are published authors and have some good advice for me. I know that self help are the best selling books of all time, and that's the theme of my book.

Yeah, I thought so too, especially when I was an editor here a few years ago back in 2007 or 2006. Have things changed since then?

Hi. I can help you sell your book. First, hire a artist, make the cover on a large sheet. Pay the artist, have them sign a release that the artwork belongs to you. Have the page copywriten. Pay the attorney, sign the same release. Then go to the stores in your area, and sell them the book. Book buyers in most U.S. states purchase new items in October. Make an appointment. Also most stores will purchase new items for writers in their home areas. Offer to appear on the T.V & radio stations in your area, also offer to do autograph "parties" in the local stores. All you are showing them is the "cover" of your book. Take the purchase orders [from stores]to bank in your area and tell them to loan you the money to publish your book yourself.then you don't give 98% to

Keeping 98% of the profits is not hard to do. Invite yourself on the Colbert Report show, on comedy central. (T.V]You have a nice way about you. Lots of T.V. & radio shows have authors for guests. In my case, my book was "burned in Boston" by the Moral Majority & Ihad a lot of publicity. If you have a $1000 dollars to spend on advertising then hire your favorite radio station to plug your book & ask for "a blitz campaign". Good luck. and warmest regards, Super Sue.
