Alucard Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 A submission, dated 8-May, awaits review, along with less than 50 other sites. Cheers.
Guest chareon Posted June 26, 2003 Posted June 26, 2003 Alucard, Thank you for vey fast reply. I think I found more appropriate category. Should I resubmit it? http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Travel_and_Tourism/Travel_Services/Travel_Agents/
Meta hutcheson Posted June 26, 2003 Meta Posted June 26, 2003 I answer your question cautiously, so I'd better put the caveats up front. 1) This is my own opinion, and other editors may differ. 2) This is not an open license to submit even to THREE different categories. But: IF you have submitted a site ONCE to ONE category, and you later decide that there is a more specific appropriate category (say, you submit to Arts/Literature/Authors, and later figure out the trick with the alphabet, and figure out which letter your last name begins with -- or you submit to Regional/Milky_Way/Southwest_Spiral_Arm, and later remember that you only offer services on the inner planets of the solar system, and find a more specific geographic category) THEN IF you look carefully around at the new category, and IF its current category description and the sites already listed do fit your site, THEN please, yes, go ahead and submit the site again, to the more specific category. I promise not to call it "spam." It may actually speed getting your site listed, it probably won't add very much effort to the editing process, and it might even save us time. And thanks for asking. The people who show this kind of consideration aren't the people who cause our spamming problems.
