raniahamdy Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Great this is the last time I fill this application. I mentioned in the application that i am a master degree holder and a research team member, I suggested a great three articles but nothing new refused without revealing the reason. You really need a huge number of editors to bring DMOZ back to life, you are not helping anybody with refusing all the applications this way. I applied with the same username i use here in case you want to invistigate the issue. Thanks,
Meta pvgool Posted June 1, 2010 Meta Posted June 1, 2010 Having a master degree is not a recuirement to become an editor. We only ask to fill in the form completely and honsty and describe 3 example website in such a way that ou show to have understood the guidelines. Each rejected application has a list of common mistakes and sometimes a specific comment. Being able to determine which (one or more) of the common mistakes are valid for you can be seen as part of the application process. It is similar to tasks editors will have to do day in day out. I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.

Thanks for your kind reply. I know that a Master degree is not a requirement but I am just saying that i can filter the useful and scientific information from the wrong even harmful information that fill the web. So I think that i will be useful in a medical category. The bad thing that there was no reason for refusal, He just refused the application. And I reviewed the rules carefully and I think that my application is good enough. So it will be very hard to re-apply and fix what i don't know. So please if you can check the application and inform me about what to fix I will be grateful. username: raniahamdy category:Top: Health: Dentistry: Conditions and Diseases Thanks Again for replying.
Meta pvgool Posted June 1, 2010 Meta Posted June 1, 2010 Sorry, but it is essential that you will be able to determine yourself what was wrong. I only can point you to the FAQ and General Advice About Becoming an Editor and the Editor Guidelines. I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.

I think that every one has enough frustrations in his life and need no more frustrations in applying to voluntary work. So i will wait for a while before re applying. I wish you the best. Dr R.
