Editor Account Closed Due To Inactivity-Please Help

Can any one help me? Makrhod suggested that I seek assistance in this forum and as such I've attached the emails that I sent to him. Photofox (Volunteer ODP Meta Editor) was very helpful in getting my email switched to my current provider but when I try to use the password reminder the following comes up:

A reminder was recently sent. Sorry.

Is it possible to reset the password reminder? I hope I can remember the password, it's been eight years! Thanks all especially Makrhod and Photofox.

There is no difficulty returning to the directory provided your editor account closed simply due to inactivity. 

All you need to do is visit http://www.tagoror.com/dmoz/en/links/profiles/tevans5.html/a> Google cache used to have them all listed but no longer does.

If I understand correctly your problem, you simply have to fill a new reinstatement request using the mail address sent to photofox

The problem is that I need my password to fill out the reinstatement request. When I try to use the password reminder tool to email me my password the following comes up:

A reminder was recently sent. Sorry.

I think I read somewhere that the password reminder will reset after 5-7 days? I guess I will just have to set it out. I am going to go nuts sitting around for week trying to remember a password from 8 years ago.

You can only request a password reminder once in a 24 hour period, and I'm afraid there is no way for us to reset that. I did however reset your password to the one we have on record, so when you request a password reminder tomorrow you should get it without any further issues. You can then request reinstatement via the link mauri posted.

Has that changed? It used to be approximately 4 days.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it had been changed to 24 hrs (this was a year or two ago), because the 4/5 day time frame was... odd.
